Run from a story I am making. He lives in a world called the Bookish Hermit, and his house is full of books which he risks being buried under when he's home. When he's not home, he's searching for the Sidewalk that will lead him to the End.
The books and titles on them aren't relevant. Some of them are random magic books (Key of Solomon, Black Pullet, Le Grand Grimiore), Where the Sidewalk Ends, and one of my random stories.
where the sidewalk ends, the poetry book, right? love this pic n__n looks so dusty and bookworm ish and his pants are awesome you do good to capture the mood perfect colors
I love your colouring style so much. X3 You should make a tutorial or something. Do you just use default photoshop brushes without the use of dodge/burn?
I don't like using dodge or burn. I will occasionally when I feel like putting random texture. And I'm not good at making tutorials. ; I actually got to color like this because of a tutorial! Thank you for the comment!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
